The Journal of Hydraulics is a quarterly scientific publication of the Iranian Hydraulic Association, specializing in water engineering. It publishes research, technical (industry-related), review articles and Data paper. The journal's official language is Persian, accompanied by a detailed English abstract. Manuscripts are submitted electronically via the Journal Management System (jhyd.iha.ir). The journal was granted a scientific status by the Board of Directors of the Iranian Hydraulic Association, as per letter No. 3/2910/37, dated 04/06/2004, from the National Scientific Publications Commission. Furthermore, it has been awarded a scientific grade (A) by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology from 2019 to 2023, based on the new evaluation criteria of the Publications Commission. Additionally, the journal's publication has been approved by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance under license No. 124/1102, dated 05/24/2007.
